About the RoleAs a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide tailored support to students who require additional help to access the curriculum and participate fully in school life. Working closely with teachers and the wider support team, you will assist pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, helping to build confidence, encourage independence and create positive learning experiences throughout the school day.

Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with additional learning needs.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
- Encourage students to participate confidently in classroom activities.
- Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
- Monitor student progress and share relevant observations with teaching staff.
- Help maintain a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
- Experience supporting students with additional learning needs is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, compassionate and adaptable approach.
