Salary: £460 – £600 per week (depending on experience and qualifications)

Are you a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant who enjoys helping children learn, grow and achieve their best? A welcoming primary school in Doncaster is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026.

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 to support pupils' learning and development. You will deliver targeted interventions, provide one-to-one and small group support, and help create an engaging classroom environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed. This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on children's educational journeys.

• Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classrooms.
• Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to help pupils achieve their learning goals.
• Assist the class teacher with planning, preparing and delivering engaging learning activities.
• Encourage positive behaviour and active participation during lessons.
• Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities.
• Monitor progress and share relevant feedback with teachers where appropriate.

• A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Previous experience working within a primary school is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring, patient and proactive approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• A genuine commitment to supporting children's learning and development.

To work with GSL Education as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Primary), you should:

• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last two years.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
• Have a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
