About the Role
Maths Teacher — Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
Pay: £150 – £232.57 per day (salary dependent on experience and/or qualifications).
Start Date:
September 2026.
This role involves teaching Maths across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Years 7‑11) in a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Doncaster. The position may be part‑time starting September 2026. Students are well‑motivated, supported by strong leadership and a commitment to professional development. Maths is valued within the curriculum and there are opportunities to contribute to extracurricular activities if desired.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and creative Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Support students in developing confidence and performance skills.
- Contribute to the department’s collaborative culture and make use of specialist resources.
- Provide effective classroom management that motivates and inspires learners of all abilities.
- Hold QTS or a PGCE (UK‑recognised teaching qualification).
- Have recent experience teaching GCSE Maths (Years 10 and 11).
- Be available full‑time for a one‑term cover.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Provide suitable references, a valid Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply), and Right to Work in the UK.
