About the RoleAs a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Primary), you will work closely with class teachers to support learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You will provide classroom support, deliver small‑group interventions, assist pupils who need additional help and encourage positive behaviour throughout the school day. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in helping children develop academically, socially and emotionally.

Responsibilities- Support pupils during whole‑class teaching and small‑group activities.
- Deliver targeted interventions to support literacy, numeracy and other key areas.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
- Encourage positive behaviour and help children remain engaged in learning.
- Provide additional support for pupils with varying learning needs where required.
- Monitor progress and share relevant observations with teaching staff.
- A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Previous experience working within a primary school setting is desirable.
- A good understanding of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, caring and proactive approach.
- A genuine commitment to supporting children’s learning and development.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Up‑to‑date CV with two relevant references from the last two years.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection; successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
