Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting a Geography Teacher to work on a temporary, ongoing supply basis across a variety of welcoming secondary schools throughout Doncaster.

Contract:

Temporary, flexible ongoing supply Pay: £140 - £195 per day (paid via PAYE, no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available)

Working as a Geography Teacher in Doncaster, you will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, encouraging pupils to develop an understanding of physical and human geography, environmental issues and the wider world.

The Geography Teacher role in Doncaster may also include opportunities to undertake general secondary cover, making this an excellent role for teachers seeking flexibility while remaining within secondary education.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
Adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Undertake general secondary cover where required
Monitor and assess pupil progress
Maintain positive behaviour management
Follow safeguarding procedures at all times

Candidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Geography within secondary education
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Flexible and professional approach
Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
