Pay: £100 - £130 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)

About the Role

Working as a Secondary Cover Supervisor in Doncaster, you will supervise pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups, ensuring pupils remain engaged and on task in the absence of their usual teacher.

The Secondary Cover Supervisor role in Doncaster may involve working across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a variety of schools. You will follow school policies, manage classroom behaviour and provide a positive learning environment for pupils.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
Support pupils to remain engaged and on task
Adapt confidently to different secondary school settings
Follow school policies and procedures
Follow safeguarding procedures at all times

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience working with young people or within an educational setting
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Confident and adaptable approach
Ability to work across a variety of secondary schools in Doncaster
Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
