As a subject specialist teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons while creating a positive learning environment that enables pupils to achieve their potential.

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons
  • Teaching across KS3 and/or KS4 within your specialist subject
  • Differentiating lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively
  • Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Building positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
  • Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment

The ideal candidate will have:

  • QTS or recognised teaching qualification – desirable depending on the role
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • Experience teaching within a secondary school environment
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • The ability to engage and motivate pupils
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A passion for education and supporting pupil development
  • The flexibility to work across different schools and settings

ECTs are particularly welcome, as well as experienced teachers looking for flexible or additional work.
