We are recruiting on behalf of a primary school in Doncaster looking to appoint a dedicated Year 6 Teacher for a long-term role commencing in September 2026.
The school is seeking a teacher who thrives in upper Key Stage 2 and understands the importance of preparing pupils for the transition into secondary education. Experience delivering effective SATs preparation and intervention programmes is essential.
About the Role
As the Year 6 class teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging lessons that challenge and inspire learners
- Support pupils in preparation for Key Stage 2 SATs assessments
- Use assessment data to monitor progress and target support where needed
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Provide additional support for children with SEN
- Establish clear expectations and strong classroom routines
- Contribute to the wider life of the school
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching Year 6 or upper KS2 classes
