Are you a qualified Computer Studies Teacher who can make computing and digital learning clear and engaging?

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are currently looking for a knowledgeable Computer Studies (CS) Teacher to work with a school in Doncaster
. The successful candidate will support students in developing their understanding of computing and digital concepts through clear, well-structured lessons.

Key Responsibilities of the Computer Studies Teacher:
  • Deliver well-structured Computing lessons in line with curriculum expectations.
  • Support students in developing practical and theoretical knowledge.
  • Differentiate activities to meet individual learning needs.
  • Monitor and assess student progress.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively.
  • Encourage independent learning and problem-solving.
  • Promote safe and responsible use of technology.
Requirements for the CS Teacher role:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for the Computer Studies Teacher role.
  • Strong subject knowledge.
  • Previous teaching experience as a CS Teacher.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
