At Academics, we act as an agency and are recruiting a Maths Teacher to work on a temporary, flexible, ongoing supply basis across a large variety of secondary schools throughout Doncaster.

The role allows you to share your passion for Maths with secondary students at a variety of schools, while also offering you the opportunity to undertake general secondary cover to share your passion for other subjects where subject-specific Maths roles are not available.

Pay: £140-£195 per day (Dependent on experience, training, qualifications, Paid via PAYE - No umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)

The role:

You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 & KS4, driving pupils to build their mathematical knowledge, reasoning and problem-solving skills.

The role is ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECT) who are looking for flexible, temporary, ongoing work. There may also be opportunities to undertake general secondary cover across a variety of schools.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging Maths Lessons across KS3 & KS4
Maintain positive behaviour and classroom routines
Support pupils progress and engagement
Adapt learning to meet the needs of different pupils
Follow school planning and curriculum expectations
Provide general secondary cover when required
Follow safeguarding procedures at all times

Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Previous Experience teaching Maths, or relevant secondary teaching experience
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Flexible and adaptable approach
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
A passion for education
Experience in Education and Training What Academics
