PE Teacher

About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Doncaster from September 2026. This is a temporary, full-time supply role offered through Justteachers, providing long-term continuity for pupils. The school is known for its positive behaviour culture, inclusive ethos, and commitment to developing well-rounded, healthy and active young people within a supportive learning environment.

• Deliver high-quality PE lessons in line with the KS3 and KS4 National Curriculum
• Plan, assess and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Promote teamwork, physical wellbeing and positive attitudes to sport
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and student engagement
• Work collaboratively with the PE department and wider school staff

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant UK teaching qualification
• Proven experience of teaching Physical Education in a secondary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the secondary PE curriculum, including health and fitness
• Two education or school-based references
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
• Ability to motivate and inspire pupils of varying abilities
