Teaching Assistant Level 1 post at Crookesbroom Primary Academy, a small primary for 229 pupils aged 5 to 11, offered on a permanent part-time basis from as soon as possible. The role helps pupils access learning and supports the teacher in managing pupils and the classroom, working under the direct instruction of teaching and senior staff. It sits within a multi-academy trust that works in some of the most deprived areas in the North of England, and the academy has an inclusive ethos.

- Support pupils so they can access learning
- Support the teacher in managing pupils and the classroom
- Work under the direct instruction of teaching and senior staff, usually in the classroom with the teacher
- Minimum 35 days' holiday, pro rata for part-time, including statutory bank holidays
