Teaching Assistant Level 2 post at Don Valley Academy, a secondary academy with over 1,100 pupils from Year 7 to 11, offered on a part-time temporary basis to cover maternity leave. The role centres on supporting pupils' access to learning under the direction of teaching and senior staff, and helping teachers manage pupils and the classroom. Work may take place in the classroom or beyond the main teaching area.
Visa sponsorship is not available, and the post starts in November 2026.
- Carry out work, care and support programmes that enable pupils to access learning, under the instruction or guidance of teaching or senior staff
- Assist the teacher in managing pupils and the classroom
- Work in the classroom or outside the main teaching area
- Minimum 35 days' holiday including bank holidays, pro rata for part-time work
