£60,000 BASIC + Overtime + Bonus + Van + Fuel Card

Monday - Friday - 8am - 4pm

We have partnered with a UK-based solar O&M company, maintaining multi‑megawatt solar PV assets and helping drive the UK's clean energy transition. Due to continued portfolio growth, we are seeking a skilled Solar PV Technician to support the operation and maintenance of utility‑scale solar sites.

As a Solar PV Technician, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance of large‑scale ground‑mounted solar farms. You'll play a key role in ensuring maximum plant availability and performance.

• Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on utility‑scale solar PV systems
• Fault finding and diagnostics on inverters, transformers, LV/HV systems
• Testing and inspection (AC/DC systems)
• Thermographic inspections and string testing
• Monitoring plant performance and responding to alarms
• Completing detailed service reports and maintaining accurate records
• Supporting HV switching operations (where authorised)
• Ensuring full compliance with UK HSE and electrical safety standards

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Engineering
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Proven experience working on utility‑scale solar PV sites
• Strong fault‑finding ability on inverters and AC/DC systems
• Understanding of HV/LV systems
• Full UK driving licence
