Salary, based on Experience - £55,000 to £85,000 Plus Package

Location - Doncaster

A well-established civil engineering contractor is seeking an Estimator to support a growing workload across their civil engineering projects for repeat clients. They work across deep drainage, concreting, commerical and residential sectors.

The Role

As Estimator, you will be responsible for pricing civil engineering projects from initial enquiry through to tender submission. The role suits an Estimator who enjoys detailed work, collaborative tendering and being trusted to manage their own workload.

Key Responsibilities

* Preparing accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects

* Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation

* Producing take-offs and pricing from first principles

* Engaging with suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing

* Identifying risks and value engineering opportunities

* Preparing tender submissions and supporting documentation

* Liaising with commercial and delivery teams during handover

Ideal Estimator Profile

* Experience as an Estimator within civil engineering or groundworks

* Strong understanding of drainage, earthworks and reinforced concrete

* Confident working on technically and logistically complex schemes

* Methodical approach with good attention to detail

* Relevant construction or commercial qualification preferred
