But for us, it’s so much more than this.

We look after communities, protect the environment, and plan to look after Yorkshire’s water, today, tomorrow 24/7, 365 days a year. We provide essential water and wastewater services to every corner of the Yorkshire region, and play a key role in the region’s health, wellbeing, and prosperity.

New environmental legislation, unprecedented levels of investment and changing expectations from customers means that this is an exciting time to discover opportunities within the water industry. Our People team are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.

Where you fit in

  • Cleaning and calibrating instrumentation
  • Completing Water Quality laboratory checks
  • Fault finding and diagnoses of treatment issues
  • Integrating trend data
  • Cleaning process tanks
  • Working with electrical and mechanical colleagues to resolve faults
  • Accepting chemical deliveries
  • Changing pump duties
  • Inspecting pipework and bunds
  • Completing borehole level checks
  • Taking part in chemical optimisation activities to reduce cost per unit and site outage
  • Assisting with on site asset failure resolution and operational recovery both on site and via monitoring technology
  • Checking fire alarms and carrying out site and security walkarounds to identify and report hazards, implementing mitigation and ensuring barriers and cones are in place
  • Maintaining site hygiene routines and house‑keeping to a high standard, ensuring the site is accessible and ready to…
