Hours:
40 Hours Per Week | Early Finish Fridays
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00 & Friday: 08:00 - 14:00
Our client, a well-established and internationally recognised engineering business based in Doncaster, is currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team on a temp-to-perm basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to secure a long-term position within a forward-thinking manufacturing environment.
The RoleWorking primarily from the workshop facility in Old Denaby, you will be involved in the build, testing, installation, and commissioning of specialist machinery and equipment.
- Mechanical build and assembly of industrial machinery
- Assisting with mechanical design input
- Pneumatic design and panel/machine build work
- Small fabrication duties including welding, burning, and drilling
- Machine testing and fault finding
- Installation and commissioning work both in the UK and overseas
- Strong mechanical engineering and pneumatics experience
- Knowledge of transmission drive assemblies
- Experience working with structural assemblies
- Basic hydraulic and electrical knowledge (desirable)
- A hands‑on approach with excellent problem‑solving skills
- Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally when required
BTEC Mechanical Engineering to HNC level or equivalent.
International travel may be required for approximately 6 weeks per year, depending on project locations.
