Mechanical Engineer
Job Title — Mechanical Engineer
Overview- Mechanical Build of general Machinery
- Input into Mechanical Design
- Pneumatic Design / Build — Panel build and machine Small fabrications — Welding/Burning/Drilling etc.
- Machine Testing
- Installation and Commissioning
- Mechanical and Pneumatics
- Basic hydraulic and electrical knowledge would be desirable
- Transmission drive assemblies Structural assemblies
- All equipment is manufactured and tested in the UK prior to dispatch to the customer
- Installation and Commissioning
- Part of the role will include the installation and commissioning of machinery in the steel-plant. This will mean national and international travel.
- International travel would be approx. 6 weeks out of the year and each trip approx. 2 weeks duration dependent upon location.
- BTEC Mechanical Engineering to HNC Level or equivalent
- Hours of Work: 40 Hours per Work
- Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00 — 30 Minutes Lunch
- Friday 08:00 to 14:00 — No Lunch
- Holiday Entitlement 25 days
- Private Pension
- Death in Service
