Multi Skilled Engineer

Orbia Building & Infrastructure (Wavin) is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer at our Doncaster facility to support planned maintenance, project work, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Conduct day‑to‑day maintenance activities, maintaining machine availability.
• Perform proactive work including PPM and improvement projects.
• Actively and analytically fault find.
• Contribute to implementing new working methods and participate in continuous improvement.
• Maintain maintenance monitoring.
• Operate in line with all health and safety standards.
• Implement and adhere to safe working practices in accordance with legislation.
• Support Lead Engineers in implementing workplace organization across the engineering department.
• Mentor apprentices within the maintenance department.
• Attend daily engineering steering, weekly RCA and monthly energy meetings.

The successful candidate will have experience as a qualified engineer, preferably with an electrical bias within a manufacturing environment. They will possess strong technical knowledge in injection moulding, extrusion and automated assembly systems and demonstrate excellent communication skills across all mediums with the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders. Organisational and prioritisation skills, flexibility to meet business needs, and the ability to operate safely are required.

Onc qualified/apprentice trained is required; HNC qualified is desirable.
