Multi Skilled Engineer

Role

• Conduct day-to-day maintenance activities to maintain machine availability.
• Perform proactive work, including PPM and improvement work.
• Actively and analytically fault‑find equipment.
• Contribute to implementing new working methods and participate in continuous improvement.
• Maintain maintenance monitoring records.
• Operate in line with all health and safety standards.
• Implement and adhere to safe working practices in accordance with legislation.
• Support Lead Engineers in implementing workplace organisation across the engineering department.
• Mentor apprentices within the maintenance department.
• Attend daily engineering steering, weekly RCA, and monthly energy meetings.

Qualified engineer with an electrical bias preferred, with strong technical knowledge of injection moulding, extrusion, and automated assembly systems. Excellent communication skills across all mediums, ability to engage with multiple stakeholders, and strong organizational and prioritization skills. High flexibility is required to meet business needs.

Must be ONC qualified/apprentice trained; HNC qualification is desirable.
