60 is looking to recruit an experienced BMS Engineer to support one of our leading clients across the Bristol area.

ROLE: BMS Engineer
PAY RATE: £27.26 per hour PAYE
CONTRACT TYPE: 3 Months contract - Potential for a permanent position for the right candidate
LOCATION: Bristol ,BS32

We are looking for an experienced and reliable BMS Engineer to join the team. You'll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and fault‑finding on Building Management Systems across a range of commercial sites. This is a field‑based role, mainly covering the Bristol area, with occasional travel to Newport, Cardiff, Taunton, Swindon, Oxford, Cheltenham, Gloucester, and Hereford.

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on BMS systems.
• Diagnosing and repairing faults on Building Management Systems and associated controls.
• Commissioning, testing, and optimising BMS systems to ensure they are operating efficiently.
• Making minor software and control strategy adjustments where required.
• Completing service reports and keeping accurate maintenance records.
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures.
• Providing excellent customer service while working across multiple client sites.

• Previous experience working as a BMS Engineer.
• Good knowledge of Building Management Systems and HVAC controls.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).

• Flexible working between 7:00am and 7:00pm, Monday to Friday.
• Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
• Overtime or flexible hours available for out-of-hours work.
