We’re looking for a Finance Manager - Northern Europe who’s ready to make an impact — someone who thrives in a dynamic, purpose‑driven environment and wants to help shape the future of Operational Finance at Wavin.

We are now looking for an accomplished Finance Manager to join our Northern Europe Business Unit, overseeing financial accounting, reporting, and business partnering for multiple manufacturing sites across the region.

This is not a “back‑office” finance role — it’s a highly visible leadership position that sits at the heart of our manufacturing operations. You’ll be the key financial partner to the Multi‑Plant Leader, working side‑by‑side with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance Leadership teams to drive performance, efficiency, and value creation across a diverse regional footprint.

• Lead and develop a team of three finance professionals based across multiple countries.
• Produce accurate, value‑adding monthly financial results, forecasts, and management reports.
• Manage EBITA, NWC, cash flow, and balance sheet forecasting and control.
• Drive improvements in financial controls, governance, and compliance with Group accounting policies.
• Oversee and implement internal audit action plans within agreed timelines.
• Lead CAPEX processes, from project preparation through to post‑completion reviews.
• Control operational overheads and ensure accurate reconciliations and statutory reporting.
• Contribute to the Northern Europe Finance Leadership Team, shaping business strategy and outcomes.

• Strong background in manufacturing finance and accounting, ideally within an international environment.
  Please be aware a manufacturing background is CRITICAL. Applicants without relevant manufacturing experience will not be considered.
• Proven leadership experience managing and motivating teams across multiple locations.
• Comprehensive understanding of international accounting standards and manufacturing cost structures.
• Excellent business partnering skills — translating financial insights into clear strategic action.
• Strong communication, analytical and influencing skills, with attention to detail.
• Flexibility to travel across Northern Europe as required.
• Degree educated or equivalent (preferable)
• Professional Accountancy Qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
