Doncaster supporting Barnsley branch when needed Salary: £24,500 - £26,000

Contract:

Key Accountabilities
  • Conducting financial health checks
  • Managing a portfolio of customers and aiding them in opening, managing and optimising their bank accounts; overseeing and monitoring transactions, proactively managing financial needs and identifying opportunities to add value
  • Helping customers realise the full benefits of our service both assisted and digitally, and supporting them with more complex financial needs such as protection
  • Processing applications for various banking products, such as current, savings and credit accounts
  • Fulfilling customer requests such as verification of bank account details and printing documents for account terms and conditions
  • Discussing bank policies and procedures and any changes affecting them
  • Referring customers to in‑house experts and/or relevant bank departments as and when necessary
  • Resolving queries and complaints about accounts and banking services
  • Performing routine administrative duties as required
Qualifications
  • Positive and enthusiastic approach to excellent customer service
  • Clear experience within a sales role is essential
  • High levels of energy, resilience and self‑motivation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to achieve defined objectives/targets on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Proven problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • Detailed knowledge of banking processes, rules and regulations (advantageous)
  • Cash handling experience
  • Computer literate with the ability to navigate confidently and quickly around multiple systems while speaking to customers
  • The ability to adapt quickly and juggle multiple tasks from opening new accounts to advising on products and services and dealing with a wide range of customer queries
  • Proactive approach to educating and supporting customers in relation to the different ways of managing their finances, as well as going out into the community
