Management Accountant - 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Doncaster
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)

Our client, a well-established and growing business based in Doncaster, is looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This opportunity has arisen to provide key support during a major business transformation project, including the implementation of SAP.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in the production of management accounts, financial reporting, forecasting, and business analysis, while supporting the wider finance function throughout this exciting period of change.

This role would suit a proactive and hands-on finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is confident taking ownership of month-end processes.

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, supporting schedules and reporting packs.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly accruals and prepayments.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register.
• Analyse overhead expenditure and investigate budget versus actual variances.
• Complete Group reporting packs, providing meaningful commentary and analysis.
• Produce cash flow forecasts and financial projections.
