Role:
Locum Clinical Pharmacist

Banding: Band 8a
Location:Doncaster
Rate: £34- £37 per hour
Working Hours: 09:00 – 17:00
Duration: One month initially with, a view to extend

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist with hospital ward experience to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care within our hospital wards.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide expert pharmaceutical care to patients in hospital wards, collaborate with medical and nursing staff to optimize patient treatment plans, conduct medication reviews and ensure the safe and effective use of medications, educate patients and healthcare professionals on medication management, maintain accurate and comprehensive patient medication records, and participate in clinical audits and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.


Requirements:

  • Essential:
    • Up to date GPHC registration.
    • Relevant Pharmacy qualification.
    • Experience in a clinical pharmacy setting.
  • Desirable:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Clinical Diploma
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
