Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit an additional full‑time Consultant in ENT for an immediate start for an initial fixed term of 6 months, with a possible extension of an additional 6 months.

The post is based at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and may involve out‑patient clinics at Bassetlaw Hospital, Montagu Hospital and Retford Hospital. It supplements a team of six full‑time Consultants and one Specialist Surgeon at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and is part of ENT services across three sites:
Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Montagu Hospital (Mexborough) and Bassetlaw Hospital.

The successful appointee is expected to take lead roles in Rhinology and Facial Plastics and to actively support the educational and training needs of resident doctors, medical students and nurses.

All correspondence will be sent via email. If appointed, information will be transferred into the national NHS Electronic Staff Records system. Applicants will authorise the Trust to confirm previous NHS service details via the ESR IAT process and will be responsible for the DBS check, which will be charged to successful candidates in two instalments when they commence employment.
