Mental Health Support Worker – Doncaster
Pay Rate: £12.40 per hour
Shifts: Days & Nights available
Hours: Full‑time & Part‑time
We are currently recruiting resilient, confident, and professional Mental Health Support Workers to join our dedicated mixed team in Doncaster DN4 5LG
.
- Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD)
- Complex Post‑traumatic stress disorder
- Obsessive‑Compulsive Disorder
- Dissociative Seizures
- In addition to Autism, ADHD, mild learning disability, and cerebral palsy (ambulant)
The role involves working with emotional dysregulation, high‑risk behaviours, and crisis‑prone situations, so confidence, strong boundaries, and a calm, trauma‑informed approach are essential.
Person SpecificationWe are looking for candidates with:
- Experience in mental health, ASD, ADHD, trauma, and behaviours that challenge
- Strong de‑escalation skills and a non‑reactive, grounded approach
- Ability to remain calm, consistent, and organised under pressure
- Robust professional boundaries
- A valid driving licence (essential)
- Resilience, emotional stability, and confidence
- Deliver person‑centred support and promote independence
- Support with daily living tasks: medication, cooking, cleaning, documentation
- Assist with emotional regulation and maintain structured daily routines
- Follow Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans
- Support with community access and physical activity (e.g., gym sessions)
- Liaise with mental health teams, emergency services, and healthcare partners when required
- Fully paid training and induction
- Funded Diplomas (Level 2–5)
