An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Divisional General Manager for our Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC) at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is a key position within the Division's leadership team. Reporting to the Divisional Director and Chief Operating Officer, the Divisional General Manager will be responsible for operational service delivery for the Division. Working in partnership with the Divisional Director and Divisional Nurse, the postholder will provide compassionate and professional operational leadership to support timely, high-quality, patient-centred services across the Division.
Responsibilities- In conjunction with the Divisional Director and Divisional Nurse, take responsibility for operational service delivery across all Trust sites for the Urgent and Emergency Care (EUC).
- Ensure timely access to care, delivering the Divisional annual activity plan and meeting national access standards.
- Support active Divisional engagement in key improvement programmes, including theatres and outpatients.
- Provide visible, compassionate leadership to all Divisional staff, promoting a positive and supportive working environment.
