Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to take up a newly created post, joining the Clinical Audit and Mortality team at Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Responsibilities

The post holder will work with the Head of Clinical Audit & Mortality and Trust’s Mortality Lead (Associate Medical Director for Clinical Safety) to develop, support and administer the effective running of the Trust’s mortality governance, the mortality review process and ensure that effective and implemented learning takes place.

The post holder will work closely with the clinical effectiveness, patient safety, clinical governance, service and information teams (including external services). They must be able to work independently, self-generating a significant proportion of their workload through investigation, engagement and from good practice, helping to identify and set clear targets for themselves, services and the Trust.
