Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Part‑Time Administrator to join the Healthcare team at HMP Lindholme, a Category C male adult prison based in Doncaster with an operational capacity of around 900.
With the support of our Practice Manager, you will be a key part of the healthcare journey, ensuring patients receive the best quality care and the team is fully supported.
Hours and SalaryPart‑time role – 18.75 hours a week. Shifts are:
- Monday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Tuesday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Wednesday 8:15 am – 12:00 pm
Salary up to £28,574 FTE, depending on experience.

- Provide excellent administrative support to the wider healthcare team.
- Work across the healthcare pathways – primary care, mental health and substance misuse.
- Collaborate with nurses, recovery workers, pharmacy and other staff.
- Deal with patients, healthcare colleagues and other professionals over the phone, face‑to‑face and via email, delivering a high‑level service at all times.
- Operate the healthcare system (Systm One) – input referrals, maintain accurate records and run reports.
- Attend meetings and take minutes as necessary.

- Experience with in an administrative role – any experience in a healthcare environment is an advantage.
- Experience using a healthcare system such as Systm One (bonus).
- Experience liaising with a variety of stakeholders and colleagues, both internal and external.
- Good IT skills, including MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.).
- Confidence in using data, maintaining databases and producing reports.
