Care Support Worker - End

Overview

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Care Support Workers to join our team, providing essential care and support to clients across the Doncaster borough. This role offers flexible part-time hours with a focus on weekend availability and various shift patterns to suit your lifestyle.

• Provide high-quality personal care and specialist end of life support to patients in their homes.
• Assist with daily living activities, including hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration and prompting.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in patient condition, home environment and risks.
• Support clients to remain as independent as possible whilst receiving personalised care.
• Drive safely and efficiently within Doncaster across the entire borough to meet patient needs effectively.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team.
• To ensure the provision of care is to the highest of standards.

• Weekend shifts:
  Friday, Saturday, Sunday (flexible hours)
• Evening shifts: 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
• Morning shifts: 7:00 am – 12:00 pm
• Night shifts: 8:00 pm – 8:00 am (overnight care)
• Bank work also available for additional hours
• Commitment to remaining flexible and working a variety of shift patterns to support the needs of the business and patient capacity/needs.
• Candidates can apply for one or more of the above shift options based on availability.

• Must have own vehicle, valid driver’s license, and business insurance suitable for care work.
• Ability/willingness to drive throughout the Doncaster borough.
• Experience in care work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
• Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and/or nights as required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity.
