Position: Substance Misuse Social Worker - Open Access Team

Job Summary

The Alcohol & Drug Service (ADS) is a registered charity that has been transforming the lives of people affected by drugs and alcohol misuse for over 40 years. Together with the Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH), ADS runs the Aspire partnership, providing innovative Drug and Alcohol Services to local communities.

This is a very exciting time to be in the drug and alcohol field, with significant new career opportunities being created.

Responsibilities

The Open Access and Assessment (OAT) team provides advice and brief interventions, structured key working, assessments, and a needle exchange service to people entering the treatment system.

Qualifications

Qualified and registered Social Worker with experience or an interest in working with substance users.

Contract Details

Full time (37.5 hours). Office hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a late night shift to 7:30 pm on a rota basis.

  • Salary £25,905 - £31,611 depending on experience.
