Senior Administration Assistant - Apprenticeship Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive, dynamic individual to join our ADHD Service. We are seeking an enthusiastic and bright individual who enjoys patient care and working in a busy, friendly multi-disciplinary team environment to support us in the delivery of a high quality outpatient service.
You will need to clearly demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously, compassionately and be committed to holding service users at the heart of your work.
If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, we are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification relevant to your role.
As an apprentice you will gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive. Apprenticeships include regular training with a college or other training organisation, and around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying, leading to a nationally recognised qualification.
Key responsibilities include:
- Input and extract data from clinical and non-clinical systems.
- Provide first point of contact for matters relating to service user and referrer queries.
- Organise team appointments and commitments.
- Produce clinical correspondence and record minutes from Multi-disciplinary Team Meetings.
Qualifications:
- English and Maths at level 2 or equivalent (GCSE 9‑4, A*‑C or functional skills level
2). - NVQ level 2 or equivalent in a related subject.
- NVQ level 3 in a related subject or willingness to undertake a relevant Level 3 Apprenticeship.
Experience:
- IT skills in Microsoft Office Packages.
- Experience working in a busy office environment.
- Office procedures: filing, photocopying, message taking.
- Supervising colleagues.
Skills & Abilities:
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Awareness and understanding of discretion and confidentiality.
- Ability to relay correct messages both verbally and in writing.
