We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at HMP YOI Doncaster, a Category C & D prison located in Doncaster. Capacity of 1400 men. Central to Doncaster with good transport links, parking, and on‑site gym.
About the RoleAs a Pharmacist, your responsibilities will vary. You will provide expert clinical advice on medicines and poly‑pharmacy, ensure safe, modern medicines management and optimisation service are provided to patients, deliver an integrated, safe, legal and high‑quality prison pharmacy service, inspire positive leadership to the team of pharmacy technicians and the wider healthcare team, promote good practice in all prescribing decisions, and share information relating to pharmaceutical products, medicines management, optimisation, legislation and general health education.
HoursMonday – Friday 8:00 – 16:00 (to cover annual leave and sickness; ad‑hoc requirement).
Salary£36.00 per hour.

QualificationsRequired
- GPhC registered Pharmacist.
- Vocational Master’s Degree in Pharmacy including pre‑registration training.
- Experience developing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
