Personal Assistant (PA)-PUR-877-955

Rate of Pay: £15 per hour (£30 per hour on Bank Holidays)

Hours:

7 hours per shift (1:00pm to 8:00pm)

Shifts:

Various shift patterns available, with rolling rotas open for discussion with the current PA.

• There are also opportunities for overtime, annual leave cover, and sickness cover.

The role involves supporting a 59-year-old woman in her own home who has a number of health conditions, including CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome).

Duties include:

• Cooking and meal preparation
• Cleaning and general household duties
• Liaising with doctors and arranging appointments
• Providing practical support with day-to-day tasks
• Unfortunately, the lady has not previously had sufficient support to help organise her home since moving in. Therefore, candidates must be willing and able to support her with organising and maintaining her home environment.

Previous experience supporting adults with physical disabilities is preferred, but not essential. The most important qualities are reliability, patience, compassion, and a willingness to learn.
