- Day Shifts (School-Based Support)
- Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
- 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM

AboutThe Role
We are looking for an experienced care professional with a background in paediatric and complex care, who can provide safe, compassionate support while building a positive and trusting relationship with the client.
Full specialist clinical training will be provided.
The client has a range of clinical needs and communicates through behaviours rather than verbal communication. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting their health, safety, wellbeing, and daily routines while promoting a positive and engaging environment.

- Support with jejunostomy tube feeding and management of a gastric drain.
- Monitor and care for a Port-a-Cath.
- Undertake blood glucose monitoring.
- Follow epilepsy and seizure management protocols.
- Follow sepsis protocols and escalation concerns appropriately.
- Provide full personal care, including continence support.
- Accurately document care provided and clinical observations.
- Build a trusting relationship and understand the client's communication through behaviours.
- Work collaboratively with family members, school staff, and healthcare professionals.
- Specialist clinical training and ongoing development.

Essential
- Minimum 6 months' UK care experience
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
- Previous experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs
- Experience working with non-verbal individuals and understanding communication through behaviour
- Experience supporting individuals with epilepsy and behaviours that may challenge
- Confident supporting tube feeding and following clinical care plans
- Knowledge of seizure management and epilepsy protocols
- Calm, patient, and playful approach to care
- Adaptable and able to work effectively across both day and overnight shifts
- Comfortable working within both home and school environments
- Reliable, consistent, and committed to building positive relationships
- Professional, compassionate, and person-centred approach to care
Desirable
- Experience with enteral feeding, gastric drains, or Port-a-Cath care
- Experience supporting individuals with complex medical needs in home or educational settings
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health & Social Care
