About the Role

Enable Futures is looking to appoint an experienced and proactive Apprenticeship Manager to join our Apprentice Experience Team. This is a pivotal role within our Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Service, ensuring apprentices and Host Employers receive a consistent, high-quality service from recruitment through to successful completion.

You will take ownership of the full apprenticeship journey, supporting apprentices both academically and pastorally while working closely with Host Employers and training providers. Acting as a single point of contact, you will ensure apprentices are well supported, fully informed and progressing successfully against their apprenticeship standard.

This role requires regular travel across the Yorkshire region to conduct interviews, inductions, progress reviews and Health & Safety checks. You must be comfortable working independently, managing a caseload, and building strong professional relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Work with the Recruitment Coordinator to attract and guide suitable candidates into apprenticeship opportunities
  • Attend and support final-stage interviews with Host Employers
  • Deliver apprenticeship inductions and complete employment documentation
  • Ensure all policies, procedures and compliance requirements are understood and adhered to
  • Coordinate enrolment with appropriate training providers
  • Manage a caseload of apprentices throughout their employment
  • Provide ongoing academic guidance and pastoral support
  • Conduct regular progress and performance reviews with apprentices, Host Employers and training providers
  • Monitor progress against apprenticeship standards and address performance concerns appropriately
  • Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day issues, escalating where necessary
Employer & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Host Employers and training providers
  • Conduct Health & Safety pre-checks and support compliance requirements
  • Promote the Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Service to employers and local stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date apprentice records using the apprenticeship management system
Compliance & Professional Standards
  • Ensure safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion principles are upheld
  • Remain up to date with apprenticeship standards, legislation and government initiatives
  • Attend relevant training and contribute to regional and national company developments
  • Represent Enable Futures professionally in all interactions
About You

Essential Experience & Skills
  • Experience managing apprenticeships, work placements or similar programmes
  • Experience supporting young people in employment or training environments
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship standards and processes
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Ability to travel across Yorkshire as required
  • Level 3 qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance (or willingness to work towards)
  • Health & Safety qualification
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship standards within Construction and the Built Environment
  • Understanding of employment law and safeguarding practices
