Doncaster | Hybrid Working | Salary up to £35,000 + Benefits
Elevation Tech & Transformation are currently partnering with a leading organisation in Doncaster to recruit an Asset Coordinator to join their growing IT function.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in IT Asset Management, Configuration Management or IT Service Management who enjoys bringing structure, accuracy and continuous improvement to the management of technology assets.
You'll become the go-to person for ensuring IT hardware and software assets are effectively managed throughout their lifecycle, helping the business maintain accurate asset records, improve governance and maximise the value of its technology investments.
What you'll be doingNo two days will be the same, but you'll be responsible for ensuring the organisation has complete visibility and control of its IT assets. Working closely with IT teams, suppliers and key business stakeholders, you'll help maintain accurate asset information, improve processes and support compliance across the estate.
You'll also play an important role in developing asset management standards, improving the quality of CMDB data, producing meaningful reporting and identifying opportunities to automate and streamline existing processes.
This is a role where you'll have the opportunity to influence how IT Asset Management evolves, rather than simply maintaining what's already in place.
What we're looking forWe're keen to speak with candidates who have experience within IT Asset Management, Configuration Management or a similar IT operational environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience managing IT hardware and software assets.
- Knowledge of CMDB principles and asset lifecycle management.
- An understanding of ITIL and IT Service Management best practices.
- Experience using ITSM or Asset Management tools such as Jira Service Management or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce reports and identify trends.
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- The confidence to work with stakeholders across the business and challenge existing ways of working where improvements can be made.
- A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in process improvement and data quality.
This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that is investing in its IT capabilities and recognises the importance of effective Asset Management. You'll be given the autonomy to make improvements, work with a broad range of stakeholders and play a key role in developing best practice across the IT function.
If you're looking for a role where you can make a real impact while developing your career within IT Service Management, I'd love to hear from you.
