From coordinating shipments and working with external partners to ensuring safety and efficiency around heavy machinery, this role offers variety and responsibility every day. WHATWE OFFER
- The Start Date of employment will be discussed at interview.
- Part Time: 30 hours per week working 4 days out of 7, including late evenings and weekends.
- Part Time: 22.5 hours per week working 3 days out of 7, including late evenings and weekends.
- Part Time: 15 hours per week working 2 days out of 7, including late evenings and weekends.
- Hours of operation for this role are between 6am and 10pm.
- The starting salary for this role is £26,482 per annum pro rata, based on skills and experience.
For internal candidates please be aware following secondment principles, if a salary increase is awarded it will be paid as a secondment allowance. The amount decided is dependent on the selected candidate’s current base salary and their displayed skills for the role. The co-worker on secondment will be granted the benefits that are attached to the seconded role.

WHAT YOU'LLNEED TO HAVE
- Ability to prioritise and organise yours and others workloads swiftly and with attention to detail.
- Experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Ability to utilise Microsoft Office Suite along with the an interest in learning IKEA's in house systems.
- Compliance with health and safety guidelines necessitates that applicants are 18 years of age or older.
- Effectively perform the role in the assigned booking office area, which includes, booking in and out shipments to site which involves working with external transport companies, receiving goods with accuracy and keeping accurate records of data.
- Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for our co-workers.
- Use of IT equipment is required in this operation and ensuring that daily routines are followed and carried out correctly.
- You are required to work outside to conduct vehicle and yard checks coming in and out of site.
