Grade/Salary: Grade 2 (£25,583 - £25,989 per year) Pay award pending

Hours/Type: Full time 37 hours per week, permanent

Location: Shaw Lane Depot

St Leger Homes are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed individual to work within our Warehouse Team based at our Shaw Lane depot.

Ensure requested goods, materials and equipment are delivered safely to various locations across our borough so that St Leger Homes of Doncaster can meet its repairs and planned improvements obligations to its customers.

Ensure the safe movement of traffic in the depot yard, which will also include the coordination of all skips.

Ensure all waste is properly segregated and stored, in line with health and safety standards, legislation, industry best practice and internal policies.

Ensure that the yard area is maintained to a high standard by keeping it clean, tidy, and free from any potential hazards.

The successful candidate will need to hold a full valid manual driver’s licence and preferably have previous experience of working in a driving role although this is not essential.

The successful candidate will need to be physically able to undertake the manual nature of the role, which will include manually handling heavy objects for periods of the day.

The successful applicant for the role must be disciplined, IT literate, flexible, able to prioritise their work and be able to work collaboratively and as part of a team.
