We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business with operations across the UK. The company operates in various sectors, providing essential products and services to a wide range of industries. We're looking for a qualified and experienced HGV Mechanic to join the team at their busy Doncaster site. You will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of a fleet of HGVs and trailers, ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with current legislation.

• Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGVs, trailers, and plant vehicles
• Perform pre-MOT checks in accordance with DVSA/VOSA standards
• Maintain accurate service records and complete all necessary documentation
• Ensure the workshop is kept clean, safe, and organised
• Support other workshop or transport duties as needed

• Full UK Driving Licence
• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in HGV Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Proven hands‑on experience working with HGVs in a workshop environment
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
