Trainee; Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim Technician

Position: Trainee (Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim) Technician
Manpower is recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee MET Technician to join a leading vehicle accident repair business. This role is ideal for someone who loves cars, enjoys hands-on work, and wants to build a long-term career within the automotive industry.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Trainee MET Technician, you'll learn how to identify, remove, repair, and refit the mechanical, electrical, and trim (MET) components of vehicles that have been involved in accidents.

The package:

Full time Perm position
Monday to Friday (This is a fully Onsite-based role)

Location:

Doncaster DN2

Hours:

8:00am- 5:00pm (40 hours a week)
Salary on offer: £12.71 Per hour
25 days holidays plus bank holidays

Working alongside experienced technicians, you'll gain valuable skills in:

Diagnosing faults and damage to vehicle components.
Removing and refitting mechanical, electrical, and trim parts.
Supporting vehicle repairs before and after bodywork is completed.
Using specialist tools and equipment.
Maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Working as part of a skilled and supportive team.
No previous experience is required - full training will be provided.
