We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and caring School Cleaner to join our friendly team for 10 hours per week, all year round.
At St Joseph & St Teresa’s Catholic Primary School, we believe every child deserves to learn in a clean, safe, and healthy environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school, helping to create a welcoming space where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out thorough cleaning of designated classrooms, corridors, toilets, offices, and shared areas.
- Ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained to a consistently high standard.
- Safely use cleaning equipment and products in line with health and safety guidance.
- Report any maintenance issues or potential hazards promptly.
- Support the school in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and positive learning environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
- Takes pride in delivering thorough, high-quality cleaning.
- Is dependable, trustworthy, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understands the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in protecting the health and wellbeing of young children.
