We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our service team in Doncaster, responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of materials handling and ancillary equipment. This is a varied, customer-facing role where you'll be a key technical representative on site, ensuring equipment reliability and excellent service delivery.
You'll also support the Area Service Manager, acting as a first point of contact for defined support activities within the service team and helping to maintain strong customer relationships.

• Carry out preventative maintenance on materials handling and ancillary equipment
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely
• Accurately complete service reports and timesheets
• Manage and control parts stock on site
• Build effective customer relationships through clear communication, ensuring expectations are met in line with contractual agreements
• Liaise closely with the After Sales Office to provide customers with accurate repair updates and ETAs
• Identify and communicate chargeable follow‑up work
  , completing it in a timely manner
• Ensure all company and customer health & safety procedures are strictly followed
• Identify and pass on sales leads for Jungheinrich equipment and After Sales products
• Act as a Company Ambassador at all times

You may occasionally be required to participate in call-out duties and work outside normal hours, as directed by the Area Service Manager.

We're keen to hear from mechanically and/or electrically biased engineers from a wide range of maintenance or service backgrounds, including:

• Automotive Technicians
• HGV Engineers
• Mobile Plant Engineers
• Forklift Engineers
• Ex-Forces / Military Vehicle Engineers

You will also have:

• A full UK driving licence
• A good general level of education
• Experience in a customer-facing role
• The ability to work independently and unsupervised
• A proactive, professional approach with strong problem-solving skills
