We continue to work proactively with all our partners and stakeholders to make the very best use of available resources and continuously review services to ensure they are high quality and value for money.

We are seeking a dedicated Quality and Compliance Manager to ensure our childrens services meet the highest standards of care and education, comply with statutory and regulatory requirements, and drive continuous improvement through robust quality assurance frameworks.

The key responsibilities of the post include:
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations, safeguarding standards, and internal policies across childrens services.
  • Embed quality standards throughout the commissioning cycle and implement effective risk management mechanisms.
  • Promote and maintain strong communication with multi-disciplinary teams and partner agencies to ensure a collaborative approach to quality assurance.
  • Monitor quality across a complex multi-agency system, responding effectively to inspection frameworks including Ofsted and CQC.
  • Keep the voice of children and young people at the centre of QA processes, working closely with Education, SEND, Social Care, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain systems for assessing and monitoring provider compliance with transparency and accountability.
The successful candidate will have:
  • Significant experience in children and families services, including safeguarding, Children in Care, SEND, Health or Early Help.
  • Proven track record in quality assurance frameworks and service improvement.
  • Experience managing a team and working with multi-agency partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and drive improvements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
  • Ability to keep the voice of children and young people central to service delivery.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage complex programmes.
