Overview

An exciting opportunity within Doncaster Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Care Group’s Acute Directorate for a Matron. The post covers Adult Mental Health, Crisis Services, and Older People Services, and is essential for promoting leadership across our Acute Directorate.

We are seeking confident, proactive professional leaders who will contribute to the vision of the Acute Directorate. Managerial experience and an understanding of leading and managing a service are essential, as are excellent interpersonal skills to challenge, motivate, influence, and inspire colleagues at all levels.

The postholder will demonstrate highly visible leadership and be responsible for the delivery of safe and therapeutic care, using an effective governance framework within a defined set of teams or ward areas.

Managerial experience and an understanding of leading and managing a service; excellent interpersonal skills to motivate and inspire colleagues.

The postholder will be a collaborative, inclusive, and compassionate leader, fostering a positive safety culture and collaborating with the Care Group Senior Leadership Team and Flow colleagues.
