Overview
Registered Manager – Doncaster
Dove Adolescent Services is recruiting a Registered Manager – Doncaster to launch and lead a brand-new 4-bed EBD children’s home in Doncaster (DN9). This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong leader to build a service from the ground up, make a genuine difference in children’s lives, and develop their professional skills in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Lead the registration and establishment of the brand-new children s residential home
- Recruit, develop, and manage a skilled staff team
- Oversee daily operations focusing on high standards of care and compliance
- Drive occupancy targets to ensure service sustainability
- Manage budgets, staffing, and performance to meet budgets and KPIs
- Deliver outstanding care and positive outcomes for young people
- Maintain full compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding standards
- Promote a positive, nurturing culture within the home
- Attend management and strategic meetings at Dove’s Head Office in Pontefract
- Minimum 2–3 years leadership experience within children s residential services
- Ideally experienced in opening and registering new children s homes
- Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
- Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (completed or in progress)
- Proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work independently and lead a stand-alone service
- Excellent communication and team management skills
- £54,080 basic salary with earning potential up to £64,280 through bonuses
- Occupancy bonus of £600 per month
- Ofsted bonus of £3,000 for achieving an Outstanding rating
- £250 training allowance
- On-call payments: £25 weekday, £35 weekend
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Salary: £54,080 per annum, with the potential to earn up to £64,280
