Business Manager – Surgery Division

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals (DBTH) are looking for a forward‑thinking and enthusiastic Business Manager to work closely with the General Manager for Surgery to drive service improvement.

• Support the General Manager to ensure the provision of high quality, efficient and effective services, including risk management and safe, patient‑centred care.
• Provide solutions and advice to staff in response to pressures affecting throughput.
• Support the delivery of key performance targets in line with local and national agreements.
• Be a highly visible individual ensuring standards of care for all patients and efficient utilisation of resources.
• Build strong, cohesive relationships with Clinical Leads and Matrons.
• Line‑manage administration staff.
• Take responsibility for the operational delivery of delegated divisional areas.
• Support the GM, Clinical Leads and Matrons in formulating strategic direction of services.
• Be accountable for service delivery and associated operational issues.
• Deputise for the GM when required.
