You will be working in the Cementation OU where for over a century, Cementation Skanska has been a trusted leader in piling and ground engineering. Our breadth of expertise spans every aspect of geotechnical engineering – from micro‑piling to diaphragm walls – enabling us to deliver innovative solutions for the most complex challenges.
We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our Cementation OU, based in Doncaster. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Piling and Ground Engineering Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects within the region.
Responsibilities- Plan, initiate, and manage piling and ground engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure on‑time and within‑budget delivery.
- Lead and mentor engineers, technicians, and support staff required for the project.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and subcontractors, building relationships and ensuring clear, timely communication across all project stakeholders.
- Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and claims in collaboration with legal and procurement teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in project management within the piling and ground engineering industry.
- Knowledge of construction project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with proven ability to manage diverse teams.
