UK Managing Director

tml Partners is supporting a highly ambitious, technology-enabled services business as it appoints a UK Country Manager/MD to lead its next phase of growth and transformation.

This is a genuinely pivotal leadership role for an experienced commercial operator who enjoys building, transforming and scaling businesses
.

You’ll take full ownership of the UK & Ireland operation, with responsibility for:

• Full P&L and commercial performance
• Driving profitable growth across B2G, B2B and B2C markets
• Integrating acquired businesses into one high-performing operating model
• Modernising operations, processes and technology
• Improving pricing discipline, margins and operational efficiency
• Leading customer-facing teams, field operations and 24/7 service environments
• Building a strong, unified leadership culture across multiple locations
• Working closely with the Group CEO and international leadership team to shape the wider strategy

The business operates in an important and growing sector at the intersection of technology, care and essential services
, with a clear purpose: using technology to help people live safer, more independent lives.

The person

I’m looking for a hands‑on, commercially sharp leader who combines strategic thinking with the ability to roll up their sleeves and get things done.

You’re likely to bring experience in areas such as:

• Full P&L ownership
• Business transformation, integration or turnaround
• Technology-enabled services, healthcare/Med Tech, telecare, security monitoring or field service
• B2G/public sector tendering alongside B2B and/or B2C commercial experience
• Leading operationally complex, multi-site organisations
• Working effectively within an international/matrix environment

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who builds trust, brings people together, creates accountability and delivers change

This is not a “keep the lights on” leadership position. You’ll have the autonomy and mandate to shape the UK business, accelerate profitable growth, modernise the operation and build a high-performing team - while working directly with the Group CEO as a key strategic partner.
